Hon. Abina Wambui Njoka isĀ  a specially elected member of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga elected by the Jubilee Party to represent women and meet the two-third gender rule.

Albina is an accountant by profession and is also a trained community health worker.

She is currently serving as the vice chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee in the County Assembly. She sits as a member in various county assembly committees including: Education, Implementation, Medical Services Public Health and Sanitation, Budget and Appropriation and Public Service and Administration, Selection and Women Caucus Committees.

Prior to her nomination as a Member of the County Assembly she worked as an accountant for the National Irrigation Board and later as a community health worker at the Kimbimbi Sub County Hospital and the Kerugoya County Referral Hospital.

Hon. Albina is committed to service and she hopes to utilize her position as a Member of the County Assembly to make Kirinyaga rise and shine and boost the economy of the county.
