Hon.Ngahu Benson Waweru
Leader of the Majority Party MCA-Gathigiriri Ward
Hon. Benson Waweru Ngahu is a Member of the County Assembly elected on a United Democratic Alliance Party ticket to represent Gathigiriri Ward.
Hon. Ngahu is currently serving as the Leader of the Majority Party in the County Assembly, a position that entails providing political leadership for the majority party, coordinating the legislative agenda, and fostering cohesion within the Assembly. He is the chief spokesperson of the majority party, liaises with committee chairpersons, and ensures that government-sponsored legislation and motions are effectively tabled, debated, and concluded.
He is the chairperson of the Selection Committee, he further serves the vice chairperson of the Appointment Committee and the Committee on House Business. He sits as a member in various committees of the County Assembly including: Medical Services, Public Health and Sanitation, Committee on Powers and Privileges, Budget and Appropriations, Committee on Sports, Culture and Social Services, Cooperative Development, Trade, Marketing, Tourism Industrialization, and Enterprise Development and the Liaison Committees. In addition to these roles he also sits as member in the County Assembly Service Board.
Hon Ngahu hopes to solidify his role as the Leader of the Majority Party by spearheading legislation that addresses the needs of the people of Kirinyaga, ensuring robust oversight over the County Executive, fostering unity with the County Executive and advancing the welfare of the Members of the County Assembly
Prior to his election as Member of the County Assembly, Hon. Ngahu served as a member of the Uwezo Fund committee in Mwea, and a ward manager for Gathigiriri ward in the 2013-2017 period.
Outside politics, Hon Ngahu loves to mentor youth and engage in farming activities, he indeed is an avid farmer.

Hon.Njamumo Jinaro Namu
Deputy Speaker & MCA-Mutithi-Ward.
Hon. Jinaro Namu Njamumo is a second time Member of the County Assembly elected on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party ticket to represent Mutithi ward.
He is currently serving as the Deputy Speaker of the third County Assembly and the Chairperson of the Liaison committee. .
He also sits as member in various committees of the County Assembly including: Procedure and Rules, Budget and Appropriations, Physical Planning, Lands, and Housing and Implementation
committees. In his first term as an MCA Hon. Njamumo served as the Chairperson of the Finance and Economic Committee
He has over thirty years’ experience in multiple industries including: farming, business, and politics.
Outside politics Hon. Njamumo is family man who enjoys reading, and spending time with his family.

Hon.David Kinyua Wangui
MCA-Mutira Ward
Hon. David Kinyua Wangui is a Member of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga elected on United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to represent Mutira ward. He was elected to the position in the year 2013. He holds Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Chemistry from Kenyatta University. Hon. Kinyua is the chairperson of the Legal Affairs, and Delegated County Legislation Committee. He also sits as a member in the Implementation, Lands Physical Planning and Housing, Environment, Water and Natural Resources and Cooperatives, Trade, Marketing, Tourism Industrialization and Enterprise Development Committees of the County Assembly. In the second County Assembly, Hon Kinyua chaired the Implementation committee in the County Assembly. He also served as a member in various commitees including: Finance, Economic Planning, Marketing and ICT, Cooperative Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Enterprise Development and Powers and Privileges Commitees. He served as the Leader of Majority Party and the Deputy Chairperson of the County Assembly Service Board form the year 2014 to the year 2107.
When he is not serving the people of Mutira Hon. Kinyua loves to play football and relax with a good movie.
